We are proud to announce that iGoda Incubator β our parent company has recently started supplying Edgars stores across SA with their latest clothing range by their esteemed young designers.
iGoda Incubator is Training institute which offers students first hand knowledge in clothing manufacturing, retail and machine operation. To date the institution has managed to groom and provide skills to young South African who are looking at penetrating the clothing manufacturing industry.
iGoda Incubator offer the whole value chain from skills development, to Incubation, concept development to design and manufacturing and retail supply.
For their skills development program:
- They train the youth on how to operate a sewing machine, make a patterns and manufacture the clothing
The Incubation Process:
- They teach candidates product knowledge, provide a simulation of the working environment and mentorship. The brand has since partnered with the Department of Arts and Culture assisting with resources and funding.
Manufacturing:
- Student are taught the manufacturing processes. They are also exposed to hands on experience by partaking in projects undertaken by iGoda for either internal or external clothing lines. The brand has worked with big name brands and stars leading the design process of the clothing brands. Personalities like: DJ Tira, L Vovov, Dlala Mshunqisi and many others.
Retail Supply
- iGoda has recently opened its first shop at the Pavilions Social Gallery and has since started supplying Edgars Sandton City From March this year.
With a dedicated team of designers and machinists, the brand sure does seem to be steering the right direction. Rumor has it that iGoda may soon be available at Edgars Gateway in Durban β another win for the brand, taking it one step closer to becoming a relatable and easily recognizable house hold brand.
